Cruise Rates and Times

Snowdrifter II cruises allows guests to reserve their private cruise at a time that best fits their schedule. We are available for early morning sunrise trips, mid-morning, afternoon, and sunset cruises. Our minimum cruise time is 1 hour. Custom private cruises are available upon request.

Children 4 years old and younger CRUISE FREE with their parents.

Children 10 and younger are REQUIRED BY LAW to wear life jackets at all times (provided if needed).

1 Hour Getting To Know Messalonskee Cruise: Enjoy a cruise to view the broad expanse of Snow Pond, see many beautiful homes and camps and hopefully a loon or two and a North American Bald Eagle in their natural habitat. Learn about the history of this lake and the Belgrade Lakes in general while relaxing on your cruise.

2 Hour Mariner Cruise: Travel over the deepest parts of Messalonskee Lake while learning about how Messalonskee was formed, visit “Rock Island” and view the world renowned New England Music Camp and their facilities. Learn about the lakes ecosystem and the challenges faced by its inhabitants while enjoying a refreshing bottled water.

3 Hour Educational Cruise (The Gilligan Cruise): Unlike Gilligan you will return safely. Cruise to the farthest reaches of Messalonskee Lake. See firsthand the invasive Milfoil weed as it passes alongside the boat just inches below the surface. Learn about statewide eradication efforts while enjoying the natural beauty of the Messalonskee Lake. Search for the Sandhill Cranes and endangered Least Bittern and Black Tern as we travel through the 1300-acre emergent wetland known as the Messalonskee Lake Marsh. The North American Bald Eagles can make their presence known anytime during your trip.
